2. Time to make your golf course debut!

Locker room

Golf courses have locker rooms where you can change clothes. You can wear your golf attire when you arrive at the golf course, but in the summer you'll sweat, so it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes depending on the situation. Also, most courses have dedicated lockers for valuables, so please use those.

Halfway through, lunch

Most golf courses have a lunch break (about an hour or so) after the first nine holes (halfway through), followed by the second nine holes (halfway through). During the break, you are free to do as you please, such as eating or changing into a different outfit in the locker room if you've worked up a sweat.
Before entering the clubhouse, make sure to check your surroundings, such as removing any mud from the bottoms of your shoes.

End of Round

Finally, you've completed all 18 holes and are returning to the clubhouse. Before entering the clubhouse, please take a moment to check your belongings and make sure you haven't left any equipment (clubs, balls, etc.) behind.

Settle the bill and go home.

Once you've gotten ready and checked to make sure you haven't forgotten anything, you'll settle your bill at the reception. Also, since you'll often be leaving in the evening, please be extra careful on your way home. It's not a famous line from an elementary school principal, but "Golf isn't over until you get home."
