I want to start playing golf
I want to start playing golf, but what should I do?
Golf is a sport that anyone can enjoy casually. It is also a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, including three generations of parents and children, regardless of age or gender.
For those just starting out, golf can be full of technical terms and can be difficult to understand, but please feel free to contact NIKI GOLF with any questions. We will support your golfing life so that you can enjoy the sport of golf.
First, let me give you a quick guide on what to do when you start playing golf.

Let's prepare the tools
First, let's get some golf clubs, which are essential for golf. Depending on who you consult, you might get different advice, such as "A starter set with a caddy bag is good" or "Just a few clubs for practice is enough," but if you leave it to NIKI GOLF, we will carefully explain the clubs and their necessity, and suggest clubs that meet your needs.
Check the checklist to see what equipment you need. There are other items besides clubs that you will need, but we will suggest what you need based on your needs and budget, so please feel free to consult with us first.
(NIKI GOLF employs staff who are qualified as "Golf Equipment Sales Technicians" for the sale of golf equipment.)

Let's practice
Once you have your clubs ready, it's time to start practicing. The first step is to be able to swing smoothly, so just keep practicing your swing. It's also recommended to use a practice device for swinging.
Once you have mastered the swing to a certain extent, go to a driving range and actually hit a ball. However, it may be a little scary to go alone, so we recommend that you get someone with experience, such as a senior or superior, to accompany you.
At first, you will likely swing and miss, and even if you hit the ball, it will likely not fly, but this is a path that every golfer must take. Don't be discouraged, just keep trying. Many driving ranges offer lessons for a fee and also have golf schools, so it's a great way to improve your game. NIKI GOLF locations also have golf schools, so please feel free to use them.
We also offer training equipment tailored to your needs.

Remember the rules
Golf is a sport without an umpire, so you have to judge yourself.
Let's learn the rules in preparation for our first time on the course. There are detailed rules, but we recommend purchasing an introductory book from a bookstore and starting by understanding the basic rules (troubles, penalties, etc.). As you play more, you will have more questions, so we recommend purchasing a rule book at that stage.

Let's make our round debut
It's finally time for your round debut. Once the date has been decided, it's time to gather the items you'll need for your round.
NIKI GOLF carries a wide range of products, from essentials you'll be in trouble without to handy items, so please don't hesitate to ask our staff for any questions.
Most people feel nervous on their first round because it's all new to them, but once they start playing, they'll be impressed by the beautifully maintained golf course, and the results of their practice will come into play, and they'll surely understand the joy of golf. When playing for the first time, it's important to walk quickly so as not to cause trouble to those around you, and sometimes even run to speed up your progress. At the end of the day, you'll surely feel a pleasant sense of fatigue.
(Please let me know your thoughts after your round debut.)
