BRIDGESTONE GOLF

Improved performance that matches your expectations

In February 2026, BRIDGESTONE GOLF will release a new version of its hugely popular "TOUR B" series.
The theme is "Improved performance as expected"
A driver shot that is resistant to wind and can be carried exactly as you imagine.
An approach shot that lands on the face and gets close just as you imagine.

Please give it a try.

Advanced "Speed & Spin Control Technology"

The basic performance of tour balls, "fly" and "stop," has been further improved.
When using a driver, the high initial velocity and low spin make it resistant to wind, allowing you to "carry" the ball exactly as you imagine.
Low initial velocity and high spin for approach shots
Get on the face and "approach" as you imagine.

The reason why we can deliver exactly as you imagine

New chemicals are added to the core to increase durability.
This exceeds the design limits,
Equipped with the most rigid inner cover in BRIDGESTONE GOLF history.
Achieves even higher initial velocity and lower spin in the full shot range.
The synergistic effect of ST inner cover and ST hydro core
Pursuing a powerful trajectory (high initial velocity x low spin).

The reason why it "stops" just as you imagined

The Reactive iQ urethane cover and slipless bite coating, which were well received in the previous model, are now available.
It inherits the "ride feel" and "deep feeling" in the approach area that Tiger Woods and many other pros seek.

High rigidity and high MOI effect

The ball has a high MOI due to the addition of inorganic fillers to the inner cover, giving it a high specific gravity.
The high rigidity and high MOI of the inner cover stabilize the amount of spin on iron shots, resulting in consistent vertical distance.
Furthermore, the high MOI effect contributes to good rolling when putting.

Cover durability

Scratches on the ball are an important "performance" factor as they affect the flight distance and curve.
By using a special urethane material, we have pursued extremely high durability of the cover.

TaylorMade

The TP5/TP5x series was born as a revolutionary five-layer ball and has evolved with each model change.
Then in 2026, the fifth-generation TP5/TP5x series will be released with a new look.

This series uses revolutionary coating technology that is currently under US patent application.
Please try it.

technology

Newly developed "microcoating"

TaylorMade unique new technology allows the ball to be evenly coated to a thickness of 50μ (0.05 mm).
With regular golf balls, coating agents accumulate on the dimples, causing variations in trajectory.
The "TP5" series uses "microcoating" to solve this problem that is invisible to the naked eye.
"Micro coating" reduces turbulence,
The accuracy of the trajectory is improved, reducing variation in impact position and achieving a stronger trajectory.

surface comparison

The blue coating diagram is "microcoating" (left). The conventional red coating (right) shows that the thickness has accumulated in the dimples.

Speed Wrap Core

The low-density core creates a soft feel and produces lower spin on driver shots.

2nd to 4th layers

Apply spin effectively to shots hit from the ground, such as with irons

4th to 5th floor

You can control the ball by applying good spin on approach shots around the green.

Tour Flight Dimple Pattern

While reducing air resistance as much as possible until it reaches the peak of its trajectory,
When descending, you can catch air to carry your tee shot.
Dimple shape that contributes to improved distance.

Visual Technology

Equipped with visual technology that makes alignment easier.
The TP5 Stripe has been improved with a thinner stripe for a cleaner design.
Newly equipped with "Quiet Eye" to increase concentration when putting.

Callaway

Employing new materials developed over four years – the pursuit of even faster ball speed

Officially used by the PGA Tour and other tournaments, it is an index used to statistically evaluate the value of each player's shot in golf.
According to Strokes Gained, distance is more important than accuracy.
It is said that as driver distance increases, scores tend to improve on average.
This is because approach shots from shorter distances have a higher chance of landing on the green or getting close.
So, when developing the 2026 model ball, Callaway set the following themes:
Just like the drivers, "SPEED IS EVERYTHING."
In other words, it was the pursuit of even greater speed.

New mantle material for ball speed

The first step in the renewal of the CHROME TOUR series was to further improve ball speed.
To achieve speed without changing the feel of a conventional ball,
After a development period of four years, the mantle material has been completely renewed.
The new mantle (the second layer from the core) has been given the name NEW Dual Tourfast Mantle.
This new material has an elastic modulus that is approximately 16% higher than conventional materials.
By acting like a spring, it achieves ball speeds that exceed those of the previous model.

Newly improved Seamless Tour Aero, which adds circles to hexagons

In the previous work, multiple circles were mixed into a large number of hexagons.
A new aerodynamic pattern called Seamless Tour Aero has been adopted.
Its ability to withstand the effects of wind was well-received.
In the new "CHROME Series Ball,"
To further maximize the effectiveness of this seamless tour aero, measures were taken to improve manufacturing precision.
In the previous version, there were some very small variations, such as the height of the edges of the hexagons and circles being slightly uneven.
Further investments are being made in manufacturing processes such as molding, coating and inspection.
When comparing within a single ball or with other balls,
This makes it possible to achieve a uniform shape as designed.
As a result, the variation in distance from the second shot onwards can be kept to a minimum.
I was able to get a stable sense of distance.
