TRTL Putter

August 2026.
ODYSSEY introduces the new TRTL putter!
Following the ROSSIE, 2-BALL, #7, and JAILBIRD models, this latest TRTL putter is themed around a "turtle."
(The name is also an abbreviation of "TURTLE" (turtle).)
The design, when viewed from above, is reminiscent of a turtle moving forward by digging its feet into the sand.
Furthermore, dark green and hexagonal patterns reminiscent of a tortoise shell are used throughout the design.

By using lightweight materials, a distinctive body structure, and incorporating four weights—a first for ODYSSEY
Its most distinctive feature is its extremely high moment of inertia in all directions.

This time, I'd like to introduce this putter.

The fifth icon mallet

The TRTL putter is neither too big nor too small, with a head size similar to the JAILBIRD MINI.
While providing players with a comfortable level of control, it also considers the direction of the ball flight, toe, and heel.
A model with a high moment of completion in all aspects. That's how it is.

Since the TEN series, there has been a gap in the lineup of similar types, and the TRTL putter is designed to fill that gap.
This putter is the "fifth iconic mallet" following ROSSIE, 2-BALL, #7, and JAILBIRD.

The motif is "TURTLE".

The TRTL putter, as its name suggests, is a model inspired by a "turtle."
The hexagon in the middle represents the shell, and the surrounding area is designed to resemble legs.
The smooth, stable stroke produced by a high moment of inertia putter is reminiscent of the slow, powerful movement of a turtle.
Because the club head remains stable even on mishits, it becomes easier to maintain a consistent stroke tempo, which in turn leads to a more stable roll.

Lightweight material and four sole weights

The high moment of inertia of the "TRTL Putter" and "TRTL Square 2 Square Putter" is achieved through the lightweight material of the head and the four weights incorporated into the sole.
To achieve a high moment of inertia, it is important to place the weight as close to the outer circumference of the club head as possible.
For this reason, lightweight materials are used in the central hexagonal section (green framed area) and the sole plate.
On the other hand, stainless steel is used for the outer perimeter, which is designed to resemble legs, to ensure high stability.

Four weights

For the first time in ODYSSEY, it features four sole weights at each corner.
By placing two heavy weights at the rear and two lighter weights at the front, a high moment of inertia is achieved through a lower center of gravity.
It achieves a high level of balance between stability and operability.

Ai-STAR Insert

This TRTL putter features the newly developed "Ai-STAR insert."
This insert inherits the previous performance of "promoting forward spin and producing a stable roll even on mishits," and further improves the feel and performance.
It offers a more solid feel, a higher pitch and a more pleasant sound, and the ability to generate consistent ball speed even with a smooth stroke.
The structure, which combines resin on the surface and aluminum on the back, is well-suited to the TRTL putter, which has a high moment of inertia design that makes it easy to stroke at a slow tempo.

Head design

The TRTL putter features subtle improvements to its sole shape and alignment design, aiming to make it easier to naturally align with the target the moment you address the ball.
The sole has a less rounded shape than before, resulting in a more stable "sit" when the foot touches the ground.
The clubface is less likely to open unnecessarily, making it easier for players to set up squarely without consciously thinking about it.
