Dunlop IFC fitting
Dunlop IFC fitting
To maximize your driver distance, it's important to minimize left-right deviation. To hit the ball straighter and achieve greater distance, you need to choose a club that will allow for a squarer impact. Dunlop IFC fitting will help you find the optimal shaft to suit your swing and select a club that will allow for a squarer impact.
What is Dunlop IFC fitting?
There are various types of golf swings, including wrist movement and rotation. In the IFC (*1) fitting, a dedicated measuring device (grip sensor) is attached to the end of the grip to measure the rotation speed (angular velocity) around three axes and grasp the characteristics of the golfer's swing. The appropriate shaft is extracted from the golfer's swing type and the optimal shaft is recommended.
* Dunlop IFC fitting can only be experienced at Dunlop Fitting Stores.

1. IFC stands for International Flex Code, which divides the entire length of the shaft into four sections and expresses the relative stiffness of each section with a number from 0 to 9, clearly indicating the performance characteristics based on the design of local stiffness with a four-digit number.

Club fitting process

medical interview
We will ask you about your current golf game and the type of golf you are aiming for using the "medical interview questionnaire." We will also ask you about any concerns you may have.

My Club Checkup
We will measure the test shot data (head speed, launch angle, spin rate, etc.) of your club.

Extracting the proper flex shaft
Based on the My Club Diagnosis, our dedicated fitter will select a standard club (medium flex) for you.
A grip sensor is attached to the reference club, and it is test-hit and measured.
Based on the measurement data, we will extract the shaft with the optimum flex for you.

Test drive recommended shafts
We test-hit several shafts that are in the customer's optimum tune and measure the data.

Proposing the best club for you
Based on the measurement data, we will select the shaft that best suits you and recommend the optimal club for you.
